How long does implementation take?

Most terminals go live in 8–14 weeks, depending on the number of berths, gates, and carrier integrations in scope. Our implementation team runs the rollout end to end.

Can we migrate carrier EDI connections without downtime?

Yes — carriers are migrated one at a time onto pre-built EDI 322/301/315 message sets, with the legacy system running in parallel until each connection is verified.

Does u7ports integrate with our existing gate hardware?

u7ports ships with drivers for the major OCR camera, weighbridge, and RFID gate hardware vendors, and an open API for anything custom.

What does carrier onboarding look like?

Carriers get their own portal login to manage vessel schedules, fleet, EDI messages, and invoices — no software install required on their side.
